The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified RF radiation as a “possible human carcinogen”. Exposure to very high RF intensities can result in heating of biological tissue and an increase in body temperature

— Of particular concern are the effects of RFR exposure on the developing brain in children. Compared with an adult male, a cell phone held against the head of a child exposes deeper brain structures to greater radiation doses and the skull's bone marrow absorbs it at higher rates.

There is also evidence that RFR can cause physiological and/or morphological effects on bees, plants and trees.
